As the plate heat exchanger works for a long time, it will infect the surface of the plate to produce different degrees of dirt or deposits, thus increasing the flow resistance and reducing the heat transfer performance, which is mainly manifested by the increase of the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet pressure gauges and the decrease of the outlet temperature of the cold medium. Therefore, it must be checked and cleaned.
The specific steps are as follows:
1. Close all inlet and outlet valves of the plate heat exchanger and drain the fluid in the heat exchanger.
2. The floor-mounted scooter heat exchanger can be removed from the system, and then replaced with self-provided extension bolts for loading and unloading. Then, the clamping bolts are uniformly loosened, and the equipment is disassembled for cleaning.
3. The frame plate heat exchanger can be disassembled from the system, directly and evenly loosen the clamping bolts and remove them, move the movable pressing plate to one end of the bracket, tilt the upper end of the heat transfer plate to the direction of the movable pressing plate, and then remove it from the hanging opening of the upper guide rod, so that the lower end of the heat transfer plate is separated from the lower guide rod, and then take out the heat transfer plate.
4. When washing the heat transfer plate, it can only be washed with a copper wire brush or a fiber brush, but not with a wire brush to avoid damaging the heat transfer plate and reducing the corrosion resistance. Care should be taken not to hurt the sealing gasket when washing.
5. After the heat transfer plate is washed, it should be washed with clean water, and the sealing gasket should be wiped clean with clean cloth or cotton yarn.
6. The aging sealing gasket should be replaced. For the gasket to be bonded with adhesive, the bonding method is: remove the aging sealing gasket, then clean the sundries in the plate groove, fix the new gasket with adhesive, keep it straight and cured for 24 hours, and then reassemble and clamp it to L size.
7. If the plate heat exchanger is not in use for a long time, the bolt should be loosened to the size of 1.1-1.2L, and then clamped as required when in use.
8. During the regular operation of the plate heat exchanger, if any medium flows out of the signal hole, it should be analyzed. If the bolt is loose or elongated due to long-term heat exchange, it should be clamped again as required, but it should not be too tight to avoid crushing the heat transfer plate. If the sealing gasket is aging, it should be replaced.
